An outstanding room divider shoji screen, exceptional in both quality & design, with a simple, subtle, classic Edo period double cross hatch wood lattice design on the front (only) of each panel. 7 foot tall shoji screens are difficult to find in the US- built with superior materials & workmanship- premium quality kiln dried Spruce, & classic Japanese style joinery (No Rubberwood!). These 84" screens are designed with a practical & attractive bottom kick plate, to make each panel stronger and more ridged, and to prevent scuffs to the paper from foot traffic. The "rice paper" shade is actually tough, rip resistant, fiber reinforced pressed, bleached white pulp that allows diffused light through, yet offers complete privacy. These are high end, best of breed hand crafted Japanese design shoji screens sold at substantial discount - get em while they last - choose from 4 sizes- 3, 4, 5, or 6 panels- and 5 colors - Black, White, Rosewood, Walnut, Natural, or Honey finishes.
